Hi!

Thanks for being here! My name is Amy Fields, hence the name, Fields to Table. Nothing makes me happier than being in the kitchen with my closest friends and family, creating amazing dishes, and most importantly, enjoying them at an inviting table. I'm here to share with you my love for cooking, the family and friends I share it with, and bits and pieces of my life. 

I graduated from culinary school at Johnson & Wales University in 2015 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts & Food Service Management. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to do some pretty cool things with my major- work the Masters, complete my internship at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, traveled to both the summer and Winter Olympics to work as a venue manager, travel with Chobani and work events around the country- I am incredibly grateful for the experiences I’ve had with the career path I’ve chosen. 

I’ve always been a foodie since as long as I can remember. My mom and grandma both set the bar very high for the dishes they put on the table every night when we were growing up. We definitely have our family favorites and all of the tried and true recipes that we’ve been making for years, but we also LOVE to experiment with new recipes. Whenever my entire family gets together, my parents, two sisters and brother-in-laws, we are constantly thinking about the next meal. Whether it being a new recipe we’re going to try, or a cool new restaurant that we need to make a reservation at. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such a loving family that supports my passion everyday, as well as people who LOVE to be in the kitchen with me! I definitely lucked out with this group.

Food is a huge part of everyone’s lives. Enjoying a good meal and good drinks with people I love is so important to me and one of my very favorite things to look forward to. I can’t wait to share all the exciting things I love about food with you, whether it be a new recipe, the best new cookbook, or some of my favorite restaurants.
